PERSONAL ARTICLES
VOFCA will not be held responsible for lost or stolen property. Therefore, we strongly recommend that students label their personal property and lock their lockers. Backpacks, purses, and book bags must be kept in their locker. The aisles must be kept clear for emergency situations. In order to return lost items to their rightful owner, all items should be clearly labeled. After 30 days, articles are taken to Lost and Found and may be redeemed for $.25. This policy has been established to teach our students personal responsibility. Lost and Found is open daily before and after school.
HANDBILLS OR SALES
No handbills or literature of any kind are to be distributed in school unless they have been approved by the administration. There will be no sale of items such as greeting cards, candy, and so forth from organizations to Voices of Faith Christian Academy.
DELIVERIES
In order to prevent distractions in our classrooms, lunches, books, homework, bouquets, and so forth should be left in the school office to be delivered at an appropriate time by the office personnel.
PROHIBITED ARTICLES
Magazines or books of questionable content or any other items deemed inappropriate by the administration are not permitted on school property or at any school activity. Students possessing such items will be subject to disciplinary action, including police involvement, if appropriate.
Compact disc players, DVD players, MP3 players, Ipods, radios, tape players or tape recorders, pagers, or hand held gaming devices may not be brought into the building. Cellular phones may be brought into the building but must remain turned off and stored during the school day. Any unauthorized use will result in confiscation of the phone and its return to a parent.
