EARLY DISMISSAL FROM CLASS

Parents may take their children from school anytime during the school day.  Parents should send a note with their child to the school office advising the reason for the early dismissal.  Parents should sign out their child at the school office, at which time the student will be called from the classroom to meet the parent in the office.  No student will be released after 2:00PM.  Parent(s) must wait for school dismissal after this time.

VISITORS

Student Visitors:  Permission must be obtained from the administration at least one day prior to the planned visit.  No unannounced guests will be allowed.  Generally, only prospective students and out-of-town visitors will be approved.  Student visitors must abide by the same rules and regulations as the students at VOFCA.

Other Visitors:  Parents, grandparents, pastors and youth pastors are encouraged to visit students during their lunch period.

When any visitor arrives, he or she must sign in at the office to receive a visitor’s identification badge.  The identification badge must be visible at all times during the visit.  Badges should be returned to the main office upon exiting the building,
