Admission Policies

Voices of Faith Christian Academy admission policies seeks to identify prospective students whose beliefs are in agreement with Biblical tenets.  Each student must be enrolled in Voices of Faith Christian Academy by the student’s parents or legal guardian, who will be responsible for the student’s behavior and for payment of tuition and fees.

Voices of Faith Christian Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. 

Procedures

STEP #1: Completing the Application. The parent/legal guardian acquires an application packet from the main office.  Once the completed application packet has been returned, the appropriate administrator will contact the family to schedule a date for the assessment exam.

Academic Information: Transfer students are given an assessment examination by the lead teacher.  Should the student’s accomplishments (as shown by the test) be on the grade level to which the student has been promoted, the student will be admitted to that grade.  It is the policy of the school not to accept transfer students whose accomplishments have not been within acceptable standards.  Students whose current work is not satisfactory may be asked to transfer out.  No student will be placed in advanced grades without written consent from the administrator and above standard entrance exam scores.

STEP #2: Assessment Exam. The assessment exam is one tool used to indicate academic readiness at VOFCA.  An assessment exam will be administered to any student in grades K4-5th to determine the academic eligibility of the prospective student.  Requesting entrance after the initial school year has started; students must pass the assessment exam in order to be academically eligible to enroll. 

STEP #3: Acceptance Notification Checklists. Upon receipt of all necessary documents, acceptable scoring on the assessment exam and payments, the Admissions Committee will review the application for students seeking to enter Voices of Faith Christian Academy.  After the review by the Admissions Committee, parents will be notified concerning acceptance status.  In order to complete acceptance, parents must complete the following checklist.

• Photo Release
• Transfer form (if applicable)

STEP #4: Payments. Upon payment of the registration fee, the prospective student will be placed on the class roll or waiting list (whichever is applicable).  The registration fee is nonrefundable and nontransferable.  Registration for each child is $100.

Age Requirements: K4: 4 years by September 30th, K5: 5 years by September 30th
